Senior Advisor, external communications
ABOUT THE JOB
This leading bank has tasked Little Black Book to find them a senior advisor, external communications - a key role within their corporate affairs team.The role reports to the head of external communications and encompasses media relations (proactive and reactive), reputation management, strategic digital communications, and issues management.
Media relations and corporate communications expertise is a must. We are open to both agency and in-house backgrounds, but if it’s agency, you must be on the corporate side, dealing with complex organisations advising on strategy and managing reputation. This role would be ideal for an intermediate level practitioner wanting to take a nice step up into manager territory.
Financial services industry experience is desirable, but not essential. We want someone with instinct and understanding of how external stakeholders view the bank, and issues facing the bank and industry. Someone who thrives on engaging in difficult issues and works fast and calm under pressure.
